You've probably heard the story of Icarus in Greek Mythology. He and his dad try to escape the Labyrinth by strapping wings on their backs which they've crafted out of feathers and wax. Not a bad idea - except for the whole part about Icarus flying too close to the sun and melting his wings. Sadly he ends up plunging to his death in the sea below. Lesson learned - pay attention to dear old dad when he tells you not to do something. It's probably for your own good.
So what does this have to do with change? Well, I came across a video on YouTube yesterday that blew my mind. Check out Wing Suit Base Jump. It comes complete with an appropriate sound track.
Looks like fun, ehh? Only one problem - no one has been able to successfully land one of these suits without using a parachute to slow their speed. But in a video produced by the New York Times, Wing Suit Flier Jeb Corliss believes that with practice and only a few millon dollars, he can change all that...
